Betty Jane Hall, 74, of Plantation, Florida, passed away May 8, 2017.
She was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on December 1, 1942 and graduated from Riverview High School. She relocated to Fort Lauderdale, with her young daughter Carrie, in the summer of 1984.
Betty Hall had an interesting, exciting and fulfilling 25 year career as a Certified Court Reporter and business owner. This also included taking Broward and Miami Grand Jury cases. Some of the stories cannot be discussed!

Betty Jane Hall, 74, of Plantation, Florida, passed away May 8, 2017.
She was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on December 1, 1942 and graduated from Riverview High School. She relocated to Fort Lauderdale, with her young daughter Carrie, in the summer of 1984.
Betty Hall had an interesting, exciting and fulfilling 25 year career as a Certified Court Reporter and business owner. This also included taking Broward and Miami Grand Jury cases. Some of the stories cannot be discussed!
She was fun-loving and had a passion for her family. She is survived by her children, Scott Hall Hampton (Cassandra), Curtis Lee Hampton (Linda), Craig Charles Hampton (Michele) and Carrie Beth (Hampton) Rogers (Eric). Her grandchildren, Tyler and Trent Hampton, Megan Button, Candice Allen, Cole Hampton, Shelby, Trevor and Brooke Hampton, Sarah Rogers and Hannah (Banana) Rogers; great grandchildren, Aiden Corbett (Candice Allen Austin Corbett) and Julian Button (Megan Button); her brother Robert Hall (Patty); special friends the Lutz family, Marianne Miller and the late Pat Smalley Boes and her daughter, Leah Smalley Sparkman; and countless relatives and friends throughout the country. She will be dearly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Anna Hall, her sister Roberta (Hall) Shell (John).
Service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (the Pyramid) in Davie, Florida on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Wall of Serenity, Phase I to be followed by a celebration of life at Carrie Rogers home in Boynton Beach, Florida.
